We have several berry bushes in our yard; these, of course, being from our blackberry bush. We pick blackberries around our neighborhood (in the woods) throughout the summer and freeze them for future cobblers.

We have to compete with deer, chipmunks and pesky squirrels for our berries. If we’re not careful, all yields will be stolen.
It’s fun to grow our own food – albeit a small amount.
