Amazon Dreams – Snapshot of the Day, No. 185

I had some extra time today, so I went to the River Gallery Sculpture Garden and found this lovely sculpture – “Amazon with Sacred Geometry,” Steel, $28,00 – by Russell Whiting. She seemed to want to go inside this house, so that’s how I shot her. It was hot, after all.

Southern Porch – Snapshot of the Day, No. 184

This is a portion of my in-laws screened-in porch. They grow their own tomatoes and cucumbers. This scene just struck me as a typical Southern scene in the summer. I love summer in the South. The heat and humidity make me feel alive. I’m afraid I’m in the minority on this subject.
