We went to the Christmas parade downtown tonight. The Humane Society was there with a bunch of pups. This guy was a little shy before the event actually started. Perhaps he was less than thrilled with his costume.
He could barely keep his eyes open. As excited as he gets; and as much as he runs and jumps and barks all the time – a dog has to sleep sometime.
Actually, he’s not a “dim bulb,” at all. Murray is quite smart. He just looks dumb here. He had surgery on his eye and hip last week, so today was the day to get the stitches out….and to take off his lamp shade – or “Crown,” as we call it. This is Vada. She is a neurotic, nervous, non-trusting cat who gets along with only one of the other two cats we have. What she she does have going for her is she’s beautiful and gets along with the larger of the three cats. He pretty much watches out for her.
