He could barely keep his eyes open. As excited as he gets; and as much as he runs and jumps and barks all the time – a dog has to sleep sometime.

Morning Coffee – Snapshot of the Day, No. 292
Ok, the title is a little misleading. I am not a coffee-in-the-morning kind of person. I think I’ve mentioned more than once that I’m a Coca Cola girl. And I most certainly would not drink four cups of cappuccino at once. I do like it, though. But usually at night. But I like these littleContinue reading “Morning Coffee – Snapshot of the Day, No. 292”
Antique Bottles – Snapshot of the Day, No. 291
These are a few of my antique bottles I was given years ago. I love the color of them. Plastic pretty much took the art of the bottle away – for the most part. It’s cheaper, but not so romantic.
Grace – Snapshot of the Day, No. 290
I love Grace Kelly. She is such an inspiration to me. And to my great delight, there is a new show in her hometown of Philadelphia exhibiting her personal items – like some of her dresses from her Hollywood days. OH! I want to go. We’ll see.
End of the Day, Snapshot of the Day, No. 289
We took the pups for a walk this evening at North Chickamauga Creek Greenway and got back to the car in the nick of time. The guard was waiting on us so he could lock the gate. Whew! But the day was gorgeous, and the sunset just beautiful. Thanks, God!
Pregnant Horse – Snapshot of the Day, No. 288
This is a pregnant toy horse – (there is a baby wire horse inside of this one) – by folk artist, Vannoy Streeter. I bought it years ago in Wartrace, Tenn. He started making toys for his kids out of old coat hangers because they could not afford store-bought ones. At least that was the storyContinue reading “Pregnant Horse – Snapshot of the Day, No. 288”
Last Night’s Dinner – Snapshot of the Day, No. 287
Is there really any such thing as too much garlic and cheese? No. Never. I made tortellini last night for dinner and added lots of garlic and cheese to the dish. Oh, and a couple of vegetables – just to add some nutrition. I served apples, as well. Apples, as well as oat meal, absorbContinue reading “Last Night’s Dinner – Snapshot of the Day, No. 287”
Laetitia – Snapshot of the Day, No. 286
This is a cork from a dinner party one of my father’s friends threw several months ago. I had so much fun, I decided to swipe one of the corks from the many wine bottles purchased that night. It smelled so good! Unfortunately I can not partake due to my migraines. Sigh. As far asContinue reading “Laetitia – Snapshot of the Day, No. 286”
Bottle Caps – Snapshot of the Day, No. 285
Ah! The best of both worlds. Coke and Chocolate. Actually, as much as I like chocolate, I’ve never had a Yoo-Hoo. I imagine it to be too watery for me. At any rate, I found these antique bottle caps recently and decided to shoot them. They are from a time when you could return yourContinue reading “Bottle Caps – Snapshot of the Day, No. 285”
Lighting – Snapshot of the Day, No. 284
The sign pretty much sums it up. Lamps for as far as you can see. I think this is a room that holds stock for the Revival store at Warehouse Row. Great stuff. Too expensive for me. But I like to use their decor to come up with ideas for my own house.
