This is a bar called, The Social, and it’s inside of Warehouse Row downtown. I have always heard about this place, but have never had the chance to go there. It looks pretty nice.

Watering the Paperwhites – Day No. 13
Something told me I would not have any time to shoot during my lunch hour today; and as it turned out, I did not. This is water on the stem of the paperwhites plant in my kitchen. (It has seen better days)
Coke and Mirrors — Day 12
I couldn’t resist. A Coke delivery truck pulled up next to me while I was trying to decide what my photo of the day would be. Hmmm. I decided to take it as a sign considering I have such an addiction to Coca Cola. My mouth literally waters whenever I see the logo and theirContinue reading “Coke and Mirrors — Day 12”
Mysterious lunch — No. 11 snapshot
In my attempt to make a spooky photo of this outdoor cafe, I inadvertently spooked this couple eating their lunch. They turned away from me until I was finished with my photo and started walking back to my car. At least I wasn’t confronted like I was yesterday.
Shot of the Day No. 10 — The Innside Restaurant
Ok. This one has a story. As usual, I only had a few minutes before I had to get back to work, so I was hoping someone would be sitting in this window eating a late lunch. Every time I have ever walked past this restaurant, someone has been sitting at a table by theContinue reading “Shot of the Day No. 10 — The Innside Restaurant”
No. 9 — The White Dogs
My intention for today’s photo was not these two; especially since yesterday’s image was of my dog, Murray. My plan was to photograph the burro who lives with these dogs. Her name is Maggie and she LOVES the apples we bring her. My plan was to get a closeup of her teeth when she grabbedContinue reading “No. 9 — The White Dogs”
Groundhog’s Day — Snapshot #8
Not so sure of the snow, Murray surveys the backyard on this year’s Groundhog’s Day. Ironically, we’re told there will be an early spring.
Day 7 — On Thin Ice
This is a sheet of film for a newspaper page. It, along with several others, have been taped to the window in one of our offices to prevent the occupant from getting sunburned on a bright day. I have never gotten close enough to read what was on the page until today. I love theContinue reading “Day 7 — On Thin Ice”
Gallery Reflection — Snapshot No. 6
Work was so hectic today, the sun was down before I was able to walk outside to find a place to shoot. At least the days are getting longer giving me a little more time to work on my “One Photo, One Shot” project. Vivian Maier inspired me on this one.
Snapshot of the Day – Crosswalk
My window of opportunity for taking my daily snapshot was very small today. I had to settle for a quick shot out of a window that has not been washed in a while. I stood there a few minutes in hopes someone with a red or yellow umbrella would walk by, but that never happened.Continue reading “Snapshot of the Day – Crosswalk”
